Christian Love

JESUS CHRIST SAID:
“If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you...

...If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

Come Follow Me

JESUS CHRIST SAID:
“W
hat exchange shall a man give for his soul?

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels: and then will he render to every man according to his works.”

Care of the Soul

“Being good does not consist in not committing any fault; rather in knowing to amend one’s self .

If you save your soul, you’ll be happy forever; but if you lose your soul, you lose everything: soul, body, heaven, God, which is your supreme destiny...and this, for all eternity”

Be Not Afraid!

“Christianity is not only a religion of knowledge, of contemplation. It is a religion of God's action and man's action.

-John Paul II

Let Us Begin

“When a poor person dies of hunger, it has not happened because God did not take care of him or her. It has happened because neither you nor I wanted to give that person what he or she needed.

You and I, we are the Church, no? We have to share with our people. Suffering today is because people are hoarding, not giving, not sharing.

Jesus made it very clear: 'Whatever you do to the least of my brethren, you do it to me. Give a glass of water, you give it to me. Receive a little child, you receive me.'”

Don't Wait for Leaders

“Like Jesus we belong to the world living not for ourselves but for others. The joy of the Lord is our strength.”

Sacraments: Channels of Divine Grace

"The sacraments are efficacious signs of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is dispensed to us. The visible rites by which the sacraments are celebrated signify and make present the graces proper to each sacrament. They bear fruit in those who receive them with the required dispositions."

Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC#1131)

BAPTISM, CONFIRMATION, HOLY EUCHARIST, PENANCE, ANOINTING OF THE SICK, HOLY ORDERS and MATRIMONY.

“The seven sacraments touch all the stages and all the important moments of Christian life: they give birth and increase, healing and mission to the Christian's life of faith. There is thus a certain resemblance between the stages of natural life and the stages of the spiritual life."
